Cardboard
Portraits of the homeless on cardboard are an embedding of the human being into a material of survival - one devalued in the eyes of society.
Here, cardboard is not just a background, but an equal participant in the statement: it speaks of life on the edge, of transience, fragility, and the erosion of human dignity.
For most, it’s a worthless piece of trash; for the homeless, it’s everything.
It becomes their home, their bed, their shield from the cold, and the surface where they write their pleas.
In this project, cardboard speaks on their behalf - rough, uneven, but honest.
In 2025, the "Cardboard" series was featured at the "New Voices" exhibition in Paris, France, earning high praise from art critics and contemporary photography enthusiasts.
All works in the series are available as limited-edition fine art prints. Each photograph is printed on archival-quality museum paper and comes with a hand-signed signature and a Certificate of Authenticity.
